Season 2 continues the fight between the corrupt superheroes and the group of vigilantes. This season they have a lot more to deal with. There is a new Superhero working for Vought, Stormfront. She is enigmatic and seems to be anti-Vought when we meet her. However, there seems to be more to her than initially thought as we learn about her history with the company and her true identity and nature come to light.

We also learn about the origins of the company as well as the past Superheroes. One of those Superheroes that was mentioned was Soldier Boy, who is mentioned as being the first superhero and is clearly inspired by Marvel’s Captain America.

Soldier Boy was injected with Compound V and assisted the allies and there fight against the Nazis. With certain revelations, it will be interesting to see if certain characters will appear next season with Soldier Boy.

The group is still on the run after going into hiding after what happened last season. Billy Butcher is determined to save his wife after finding out that she never died. He also has to deal with the fact that she has a son whose father is Homelander.

It’s obvious that Homelander has issues, and he tries his best to connect with his son. It seems that everyone is too scared of Homelander because they know that he is crazy. No one at Vought besides Stan Edgar is brave enough to stand up to him. His relationship with his

Hughie is doing his best to hold it together as part of the team and is doing more to help take down Vought and the Supes.

Meanwhile, a mysterious Supe is blowing up peoples head. All of these victims seem to be linked to Vought and Compound V.

Not only are Vought trying to get Compound V to be used in National Defense, but they are also manipulating the Government and the public to support them in their cause. This is made worse when the team discovers that Vought has been secretly trying to stabilise V on human test subjects.

After the leak that Compound V is what is responsible for the Supes, there is a hearing in Congress. When the hearing is about to start, there is an attack where several of the peoples head explodes, including the witness.

The Deep wants to get back in The Seven by fixing his image with the public. A mysterious group called the Church of the Collective is introduced as another adversary for the Boys. They have secret ties with Vought going back to World War 2. It seems as though they will have a bigger role in the next season.

The revelations from the end of this season set up a lot for next season. The team go their separate ways after being cleared of all charges against them.

Hughie is working for Victoria Neuman, Frenchie and Kimiko go on vacation, Marvin is finally back with his family, Butcher is reeling after the death of his wife, Annie, and Maeve is still in the Seven but has to contend with Homlander after blackmailing him.

The biggest revelation is probably that Congresswoman Victoria Neuman is revealed to be a Supe and responsible for all the deaths at the hearing. It is unclear the reasons she’s doing this, whether it is for Vought or her own agenda as she seems to want to take down Vought and everyone with connections with them.

Next season will be exciting, especially to see how the team are brought back together. Not only is Hughie working for someone in the Government. It seems like she will be a major antagonist for the team.
